“Crews for Schools” roadshow kicks off!
Crews visit school to inspire and motivate children
ERS Medical has kicked off its “Crews for Schools” roadshow with a local school in one of its operational regions – South Yorkshire. Crews from ERS Medical visited St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School on 10th May with a patient transport ambulance to inspire and motivate key stage 1 children.
The school visit involved a brief talk from the crews about what they do and how people can join this line of work followed by a ‘show and tell’ of the ambulance and what equipment it carries.
Andrew Pooley, Chief Executive for ERS Medical, commented: “We believe inspiration and motivation starts at an early age, which empowers our future generations. These roadshows have been designed with that in mind and it has been an extremely rewarding experience to see the children and teachers benefit from our visit.”
Stella Groarke, Headteacher for St. Peter’s Primary School, commented: “We thoroughly enjoyed ERS Medical visiting our school for a fun and educational morning. The children enjoyed talking to the crew members, asking lots and lots of questions, and getting a closer look at an ambulance.”
We’re looking forward to visiting more schools in the regions we operate in!
