Northern Finance Director Award For ERS Medical’s CFO
ERS Medical’s Chief Financial Officer, Jeroen van Os, has been announced as the winner of the 2022 Northern Finance Director Awards, in the £25m – £100m category.
The awards, spanning 14 categories and sponsored by international business advisers Grant Thornton UK LLP, global law firm Squire Patton Boggs and recruitment firm Page Group, paid tribute to the enterprise, leadership, resilience, social impact and all-round excellence of financial leaders and their teams in Northern businesses over the past 12 months.
The event was hosted by Page Executive’s John Halton; guests also heard from Northern FD Awards winners, both past and present. Special mention was given to the event’s charity partner Yorkshire Children’s Charity, working to transform lives for thousands of disadvantaged children in the region.
John Halton, Partner, Page Executive said: “It was a privilege to be involved in these awards again this year and to hear of the continued high performance of finance leaders in the region – there have been some truly outstanding achievements. With new challenges facing businesses in the post-covid economy we have yet again seen the adaptability that these talented finance leaders possess and the positive impact their insight and decision making has on the companies they are involved with – the region is certainly better off as a result of their invaluable contributions to it.”
Andrew Pooley, Chief Executive of ERS Medical, added: “Jeroen has been an integral part of ERS Medical since the beginning. Aside from being financially and commercially astute, Jeroen is a team player who has embraced the purpose, mission and values of our organisation to help it thrive. His attention to detail, focus on data, tenacity and pure hard work has resulted in the hugely successful turnaround of a critical national healthcare business. I’m delighted that he has won this award. It’s a testament to his approach and ethos.”
Of his award, Jeroen van Os, said, “I’m very honoured to be chosen as the winner for FD of the Year in the £25m – £100m category. Despite the many challenges the economy and businesses have faced over the past few years, we have managed to execute our annual plans. We have delivered significant growth while introducing innovation and creating great engagement with customers, employees and stakeholders in the healthcare industry. It is exciting being part of a fantastic team that, even more so than normal, has proven to be a vital service to healthcare and patients. Congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted and to all the 2022 winners.”
